At LifeLit, we believe that every young person has something valuable to say. Sometimes they just need the right environment, the right support, and the right opportunity to say it.

​

Digital Hub is LifeLit’s creative podcasting and media programme designed to help young people build confidence, communication skills and real-world digital experience through hands-on production.

​

Pupils don’t just sit and listen. They create.

​

From branding and logo design, to presenting, filming, sound, lighting and social media marketing, young people build and run their own podcast from the ground up while developing teamwork, leadership and self-expression along the way.

Over the course of the programme, pupils learn to:

• 🎥 Operate cameras and production equipment

• 🎧 Record and monitor audio

• 💡 Set up lighting and studio spaces

• 📱 Create marketing and social media content

• 🤝 Work collaboratively as a production team

• 🌱 Develop confidence, responsibility and leadership

To give pupils a genuine industry experience, the programme culminates in final sessions within a professional podcasting environment in collaboration with Pancake Studios. Pupils transition from classroom-based learning into a real creative studio space, experiencing professional podcast production, equipment and workflows first-hand.
